Vishakha loves to dance and smile

Vishaka
Dear Hitesh, Deepak, Ivy, William, Sarah, Anil, Kandace, Michel, Bronwyn, Richard, Marty and Lorri, Eileen, Dennis, Lowry, Mark and Lynn, Tom, David, George, James and Julie, Ray and Lael, and Mark and Lisbet,

Vishakha’s parents are both incarcerated in prison. She spent her infant years in Tihar Jail with her mother, but was forced to leave her mother’s custody when she turned six. Her three year old brother, Abhishek, still lives with their mother in prison.

At the time of being forced to leave her mother, Vishakha was adopted by the ‘Children of Vulnerable Families’ program run by the India Vision Foundation. She was enrolled in a school, and assigned a counselor who provides social, psychological and rehabilitative therapy.

Vishakha is now in the Senior Kindergarten class at Infant Jesus School, and will be starting Primary School next year. She is very good in academics and extra curricular activities. She participated in the Annual Day function and even won the first prize in the Dance Competition.

Your donation, James, Hitesh (x2), David, Tom, Sarah (x2), George, Ray and Lael, Mark and Lisbet, Deepak, Kandace, Anil, Ivy (x2), Mark and Lynn, William, Michel, Bronwyn, Wat, Dennis, Richard, Marty and Lorri, and Eileen, will enable the India Vision Foundation to provide tution, food, lodging, uniforms and professional counselling to Vishakha for a full year.

Thank you for allowing Vishakha to continue dancing in her carefree manner.
