Sunny looks forward to the years ahead
posted November 13, 2011

Sunny’s parents were in prison for more than 7 years on charges of murder, and have recently been released on bail. He has two younger sisters, one is studying and one is staying with the mother. Though his parents are both free now, the environment at home is unsafe for him. His parents have not demonstrated a sense of responsibility while caring for him: on one occasion, he lost a year in school due to his parents’ carelessness of not bringing him back to school in time after he completed treatment for jaundice. Being the oldest child, he is in grave need of positive role models who will shape his character and the India Vision Foundation has taken on the responsibility of providing this support to Sunny.
Sunny is now enrolled in the sixth grade at St. John’s school in Khera Khurd, Delhi. He is a vivacious child, bright in academics and incredibly active in extra-curricular activities. He is an excellent foot ball player and loves to coach other children in foot ball too. A brilliant child, Sunny looks forward to continuing his school days with the project at St.John’s Boys Home and then becoming a good professional to serve society.
Thank you very much, Dean and Julie, Greg and Monica, Paris, Srikanth, Mark and Lynn, Gillian, Jeffrey C, Jeffrey R, Jerame, Katherine, Leo, and Lowry, for your very kind support of Sunny’s education.
