Geeta is virtualy an orphan

Geeta
Dear Michael, Rao, Susan, David, Craig, Ted and Pam, Paige, Susan, Bill and Colleen, Marty & Lorraine, Thomas, and Ron,

Thank you for supporting Geeta’s education for an entire year.

Geeta was identified as a candidate for India Vision Foundation’s Vulnerable Children Project at the crèche in Tihar Jail. Her mother was in prison on charges of drug peddling, and there was no available information on her father. Gita was taken out of the prison environment, and put in a hostel. She was enrolled at the Assisi Convent School, Noida in 2006, and is currently in grade 4. Her mother visited her once, but has disappeared completely since then, so Geeta is virtually an orphan.

In addition to a good education, Geeta is provided with regular counseling to ensure holistic development, and proper self-awareness. She is particularly fond of music and responds positively to the stimulus.

Thank you for coming together to support Geeta’s education for an entire year.
