Kajal aspires to become a Doctor!

Nine year old Kajal has two younger brothers – Sonu and Ayyub.

Her mother, Momina was imprisoned on charges of murdering her husband. Kajal lived with her mother until last year where she was kept in the Tihar Jail creche. Although a very quiet and shy girl, Kajal is a keen learner and is very eager to study.

Seeing her interest in studies, she was enrolled in the Grace Mission School in Gurgaon, directly from the Tihar Jail creche. She is currently studying in the 1st grade and lives in the school hostel with her brother, Sonu while her youngest brother Ayyub continues to stay with the mother.

Kajal loves to play and solve math problems. She aspires to become a Doctor when she grows older and is determined to make a successful career for herself in this field.

Thanks to your generous donations, Pooja, Kiran, Charlie (x2), Lee, Peter and Kim, Rao, Ted and Pam, Thomas, Tom, Trish and Lesley, Kajal will continue getting good education for another year and can work towards her goal of becoming a Doctor.
