Start of a new life, for Karim!

Ten year old, Karim, comes from a very poor family and was living in Tihar Jail, until four years back. His brother is imprisoned on charges of murder and his father, though he has no criminal record against him, is known to be a drug peddler. With no one else to care for him, the jail authorities sought admission for Karim, at the Grace Mission School.

When he started schooling, Karim was enrolled in Lower Kindergarten but was promoted soon after, seeing his excellent performance in school. He is currently studying in the 6th grade here and is a very quiet but eager child. He loves attending school and learning new things each day. Cricket is his favorite sport and Karim wants to become a cricketer when he grows up.

Your generous donations, Sophia and Larry (x3), Laurent (x3), UBS (x6), will enable India Vision Foundation to provide for Karim’s tuition and school supplies, and part subsidize his living expenses.
